- I don't want to hear any bitching from any #1 seeds that they have a tough road to the Final Four in Indy. You have a #1 seed for a reason...you're supposed to be better than everyone else in the field. Play up to your seed or go home.
- Duke, Duke Duke... There is no way they deserve to once again get the benefit of the draw. First, their body of work within a weaker than usual ACC doesn't compare to take your pick, Syracuse or West Virginia of the Big East. Second, they are slotted to play in the South Regional, closer to home than Syracuse, sent to Salt Lake City. Lastly, they draw the weakest possible ever #4 seed in Purdue. A team who lost their best post player and now a top guard.
- Notre Dame... a #6 Seed??? Are you kidding me. They were out of the tournament about a week ago, won a couple of games and presto, over-seeded.
- Gonzaga can't be too happy with a #8 seed and staring at a Syracuse match up in the second round. So next time maybe win your conference tournament.
- Virginia Tech & Arizona State - Non conference scheduling counts. Stop playing every "Little Sisters of the Poor" in Nov and Dec. Step up and play a big boy schedule and there won't be tears on Selection Sunday.
- Best first round match-ups to watch - Temple/ Cornell, Cal/Louisville, ND/Old Dominion,Vandy/Murray State.
- My Sleepers - East/Washington, South/Richmond, West/Xavier, Midwest/OK State.
- My Final Four - Kansas - West Virginia - Baylor - Syracuse.
- Winner - Kansas

Here's a few thoughts:
- Forget VTech, Rhode Island is the team that got screwed.
- No way Cornell is beating Temple. What are people thinking? Fran Dunphy used to coach in the Ivies. He'll kill Cornell.
- MN should not be in the tournament.
- Whatever happened to the Mid America Conference?
URI peaked way too early...they wouldn't be a threat to anyone
I know, the Mid American used to send at least one quality team each year. Must have upped their admissions!
